Acer has unveiled the Swift Spin 14 AI, a new convertible laptop designed for users who need flexibility in how they interact with their device. The announcement comes alongside the Predator Atlas 8 Gaming handheld, positioning the Swift Spin as a versatile tool for both work and creative tasks.

New convertible laptop offers a 14-inch IPS display with Wacom stylus input for creative tasks.

The device features a 14-inch IPS touchscreen that supports Wacom AES 2.0 stylus input with 4,096 pressure levels. This allows users to draw or take notes with precision. The screen can fold back 360 degrees, turning the laptop into a tablet for easier viewing or drawing.

Specifications

  • Display Size: 14 inch
  • Resolution: 1,920 x 1,200 pixels
  • Refresh Rate: 120 Hz
  • Brightness: 300 nits
  • Color Gamut: sRGB (full)

Under the hood, the Swift Spin 14 AI offers two processor options: the Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 Plus or the more powerful Snapdragon X2 Elite. It comes equipped with up to 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB PCIe 4.0 SSD for storage. The aluminum chassis houses these components while keeping the device slim at just 16.5 millimeters thick.

The aluminum chassis houses USB 4, HDMI 2.1, and a 65 Wh battery.

Connectivity is robust, featuring two USB-C ports that support USB 4, two USB-A ports, HDMI 2.1, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 6.0. Acer claims the 65 Wh battery can provide up to 16.5 hours of web browsing time on a single charge. The display offers a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels with a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate.

Acer has not yet confirmed the launch date or pricing for the Swift Spin 14 AI (SFSP14-Q51T). This uncertainty stems from what Acer describes as a DRAM crisis, which led to the decision to omit higher-capacity RAM and storage options. Acer has not yet confirmed when or at what price the Swift Spin 14 AI will be launched on the market.

The device represents Acer's continued push into the Copilot PC market with its Snapdragon-based lineup. The device features a 14-inch 120 Hz IPS touchscreen with Wacom AES 2.0 stylus support, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 Plus or X2 Elite processors.
