Acer introduced the Aspire G 3D 16 at IFA 2026, bringing glasses-free 3D gaming to a high-performance laptop chassis. This release matters because it combines stereoscopic 3D display technology with a workstation-class AI processor, targeting users who need both immersive visuals and heavy local compute power. The device addresses a niche market segment by offering a built-in solution for 3D content without requiring external headsets or glasses.

Unveiled at IFA 2026 with AMD silicon and stereoscopic display

The laptop runs on an Ryzen AI Max+ 395 CPU paired with an integrated AMD Radeon 8060S GPU. This combination allows the system to deliver up to 126 TOPS of AI compute power, with 50 TOPS coming directly from the NPU. Acer designed the hardware to handle demanding workloads, including running large local AI models like gpt-oss-120b and OpenClaw, thanks to its substantial memory capacity.
