Bethesda Softworks has confirmed that The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered will arrive on the on August 11. This release brings the classic role-playing game to a new generation of portable hardware, allowing players to revisit the world of Cyrodiil on the go. The move expands the game's reach beyond the consoles and PC platforms where it originally debuted earlier this year.

Bethesda brings the classic RPG to portable hardware with 4K visuals

The Switch 2 version of the remaster delivers visual and performance upgrades tailored for the new console. The game runs at a steady 60 frames per second and renders in 4K resolution. Bethesda described the update as a handcrafted remaster designed to bring the wonderous world of Cyrodiil to both old and new audiences.
