MoreFun Studios announced that Arena Breakout Infinite will introduce a permanent player versus environment mode. The developer confirmed this decision follows strong community feedback and a recent poll. The studio stated that the new mode is planned for the next season, which is expected to arrive around July 2026.

Developer confirms permanent player versus environment mode following community vote.

This update marks a significant shift for the game after a previous attempt at a PvE experience. MoreFun Studios previously launched a limited-time mode called No Man’s Land. That temporary mode ran from April and concluded on May 8. The developer cited high server costs and cheating risks as major barriers to implementing offline or solo modes in the past.

Producer Enzo Zhang explained that building a full gaming environment on the server for a single user is very expensive. He also noted that processing data on the user end exposes too much information to hackers. Zhang stated that the studio does not have an ideal technical solution for these issues yet. Despite these challenges, the developer moved forward with the permanent mode after 84.8 percent of poll respondents favored the addition.

The announcement addresses a long-standing request from the player base. The developer described the poll result as a landslide in favor of adding the mode. Enzo Zhang confirmed the decision by stating that the new PvE mode will be ready as early as next season. The studio has not yet released specific technical details on how the mode will function.

MoreFun Studios has not confirmed the exact release date for the permanent PvE mode. The current timeline relies on estimates for the next season. The inner workings of the mode remain unclear to the public. The developer continues to address the technical hurdles associated with server-side versus client-side data processing.
