OnePlus has expanded the OnePlus 15R lineup in India with a new configuration that doubles the base memory tier. OnePlus introduced the new variant featuring 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage to meet user demand for improved multitasking performance. The new configuration appeals to users seeking greater capacity for demanding applications and gaming while avoiding the cost of a higher-tier model.
New model doubles base memory tier and adds larger storage capacity for demanding tasks
The OnePlus 15R runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, which powers the new variant alongside the existing 12GB options. It features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display and houses a large 7,400mAh battery for extended usage sessions. The smartphone retains its established exterior design while providing expanded storage capacity suitable for resource-intensive tasks.
The new model sits above the standard 12GB+256GB configuration priced at Rs 54,999. It also upgrades from the mid-tier 12GB+512GB option that carries a price tag of Rs 59,999. This top configuration provides twice the memory of the base model, which includes 12GB of RAM.
The vendor markets this setup as a logical step up for customers needing more space and processing power beyond the standard options. The company continues to offer multiple RAM options within the same device chassis in the Indian market.
