The Pokémon Company has announced the schedule for the second ranked season of Pokémon Champions. Season M-2 will begin on May 13, 2026, at 06:00 UTC. This launch follows the conclusion of the first ranked season, Season M-1, which ends at 01:59 UTC on the same day.
The competitive environment remains unchanged with Regulation Set M-A in effect.
Players will experience a three-hour maintenance window between the two seasons. The servers will be offline from 03:00 UTC to 06:00 UTC on May 13 to facilitate this transition. The new season will run for just over a month before concluding on June 17, 2026.
Season M-2 operates under Regulation Set M-A. This rule set does not introduce new Pokémon or items to the competitive environment. The company plans to release new content with Season M-3 and Regulation Set M-B on June 17. The current season features a Premium Battle Pass that rewards players with Gengar, Skarmory, and Kanghaskhan. Participants can also earn 48 Quick Coupons and 10,000 Victory Points.
The update arrives as the competitive landscape for mobile gaming continues to evolve. Other titles in the sector are introducing new hardware requirements or shifting business models. Pokémon Champions maintains its global availability without regional restrictions for this season.
The Pokémon Company has confirmed the specific dates for the maintenance and season transition. Details regarding future Regulation Set M-B remain unconfirmed beyond the June 17 launch date.
