Dangbei has released a new pair of clip-on earbuds called the Air 1S. The device adds a large touchscreen display to the charging case, which distinguishes it from standard audio accessories.
New clip-on earbuds feature a large touchscreen case for device management.
The earbuds use an open-clip design that rests on the outer ear rather than inserting into the canal. Dangbei pairs this form factor with a custom charging case featuring a 2.04-inch AMOLED screen.

The hardware supports Bluetooth 6.0 and includes LHDC 5.0 audio decoding for high-resolution wireless sound. The company also adds spatial audio processing with head tracking to the feature set.
Dangbei integrates an AI translation engine that handles real-time voice conversion across 36 languages. The same system can transcribe speech into text in up to 190 different languages. The earbuds carry an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance during daily use.
The Air 1S ships at a price of 1,299 yuan ($190) through JD.com starting June 15th. The $190 price positions the Air 1S as a high-end option among audio accessories that include integrated displays.
Previous Dangbei models emphasized standard open-ear comfort, lacking the integrated screens and language tools found in this release. The device prioritizes translation capabilities and case-based management over traditional audio-only functionality.
This release marks Dangbei's expansion into wearable audio devices featuring integrated screen interfaces. Standard Bluetooth connectivity is combined with translation software and a 2.04-inch AMOLED display for device control.
