Visuwyg announced DERELIKT, a retro sci-fi horror first-person shooter that draws inspiration from Alien Resurrection, Doom 3, System Shock 2, and Lovecraftian cosmic horror. The game takes place on Von Neuman Outpost, an asteroid research station orbiting Saturn. Players will explore dark hallways, manage inventory, solve puzzles, and fight eldritch abominations alongside over a dozen unique non-player characters.

Visuwyg unveils a retro sci-fi horror first-person shooter featuring PS1-style visuals and Saturn-orbiting exploration

DERELIKT features PS1-style aesthetics with affine texture warping, dynamic subdivision, hand-painted vertex colors, and full motion CGI cutscenes. Visuwyg states that DERELIKT aims to replicate authentic PlayStation 1 visuals with high accuracy. The game will include twelve levels and a subtle Metroidvania progression system.

Puzzles in DERELIKT follow the style of classic survival horror games like Silent Hill and Resident Evil. The gameplay includes traditional survival horror elements such as limited resource tracking and detailed map exploration. The developers designed the experience to blend retro visual techniques with modern gameplay expectations.

DERELIKT targets a PC release in 2026. No specific launch window or pricing details are available at this time. The announcement includes a first gameplay trailer that demonstrates the game's visual style and atmosphere.
