Xiaomi 17T Launches in India at Rs 59,999 With 6.59-Inch Display

Xiaomi launches the Xiaomi 17T in India for Rs 59,999. The phone features a MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra chip, 6.59-inch display, and a 6,500mAh battery.

Xiaomi has launched the Xiaomi 17T smartphone in India, introducing a device that combines high-end display technology with a large-capacity silicon-carbon battery. This device appeals to consumers prioritizing extended battery endurance and vivid display quality alongside reliable processing capabilities.

MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra powers the device alongside LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.

The device features a MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra processor paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. This configuration supports the 6.59-inch AMOLED display, which offers a resolution of 2756 x 1268 pixels and an adaptive refresh rate ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz.

The display delivers peak brightness up to 3,500 nits and supports a 480Hz touch sampling rate for responsive interaction. The camera system includes a 50-megapixel Light Fusion 800 primary sensor with OIS, a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with OIS at 115mm focal length, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera.

Xiaomi equips the phone with a 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery that supports 67W wired HyperCharge and 50W PPS charging. The device also offers 22.5W wired reverse charging and carries an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.

The Xiaomi 17T runs HyperOS 3 based on Android 16, with a 32-megapixel front camera for selfies. Pricing starts at Rs 59,999 INR (about $626) for the 12GB + 256GB variant and goes up to Rs 64,999 INR (about $679) for the 12GB + 512GB model.

The smartphone will go on sale from June 10 through Amazon India and Xiaomi India channels. The release establishes the smartphone as a competitive mid-tier model offering premium display and battery attributes within the Indian market.
