Edifier has updated its Hecate G3 Max gaming headset lineup with the release of a new Base Edition model, distinguished primarily by an accompanying RGB charging dock. The update maintains the core hardware specifications from the original launch earlier this year while introducing a redesigned accessory ecosystem for users.

The new model adds an RGB 3-in-1 All-in-One Base combining magnetic charging, a 2.4GHz wireless receiver, and a stand.
The Hecate G3 Max Base Edition retains the foundational audio components that define the product's sound profile. It features 53mm drivers equipped with PEN diaphragms to deliver clear audio output across various gaming and media formats.
Audio processing capabilities include Hi-Res Audio certification, THX Spatial Audio support, and 7.1-channel virtual surround sound. The headset covers a frequency response range of 20 Hz to 40 kHz, ensuring detailed reproduction of both low-end bass and high-frequency treble.
Connectivity options provide flexibility across multiple platforms through Bluetooth 6.0, wired USB connections, and 2.4GHz wireless operation via included USB-C or USB-A adapters. A 360-degree noise-canceling microphone ensures clear voice communication during gameplay.
Power management relies on a 2000mAh battery capable of delivering up to 227 hours of continuous usage on a single charge. The new RGB 3-in-1 All-in-One Base combines magnetic charging, a dedicated 2.4GHz wireless receiver, and a physical headset stand into a single unit.
The system is compatible with PCs, laptops, smartphones, tablets, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch consoles. Edifier has priced the Hecate G3 Max Base Edition at 374 yuan CNY (about $55.15) for pre-orders in China, with official sales beginning June 5 at 8 PM local time.
