Acer has introduced the HL6820GTV, a 4K laser projector designed for both home entertainment and serious gaming. The device replaces traditional lamps with a laser light source to deliver consistent brightness over its lifespan while cutting power consumption compared to older models.

The projector centers around a 0.47-inch DMD panel capable of outputting a native 4K UHD resolution (3,840 x 2,160 pixels). Acer pairs this display with Google TV for built-in smart platform functionality and media playback capabilities.
