HP has launched a new Omen 16 gaming laptop that brings AMD Ryzen processors and Nvidia GeForce RTX 50-series graphics together. The machine starts at $1,999 and is available now in the US. It targets gamers who want a powerful 16-inch system without jumping to the highest price tier.

The Omen 16 is a refresh of HP's mainstream gaming line. It offers a wide range of processor choices, from the Ryzen 7 8745HX based on Zen 4 up to the top-end Ryzen 9 9955HX3D with Zen 5. On the GPU side, buyers can pick between the GeForce RTX 5060 with 8 GB VRAM, an RTX 5070 with 8 GB, or an RTX 5070 with 12 GB.
