Xreal has introduced a new sub-brand called X by Xreal, designed to offer more affordable and stylish augmented reality products. The first device under this banner is the xbx a01+, a pair of AR video glasses that weigh just 62 grams. This makes them significantly lighter than previous models like the Xreal Air 2 and Xreal 1S, aiming for greater comfort during extended wear.

The xbx a01+ features integrated HDR displays capable of reaching 1,600 nits of brightness, ensuring visibility even in bright outdoor conditions. The glasses offer a field of view of 50 degrees, which the company markets as equivalent to watching a 147-inch television from four meters away. Unlike standalone smart glasses, these function primarily as video displays for smartphones and laptops.
