The speculation originates from YouTuber Steam Dad, who shared the claim in a video posted on May 23. He indicated that more details regarding this potential announcement should become available within a few weeks.

Asus recently celebrated the 20th anniversary of its Republic of Gamers brand. This milestone creates an opportunity for surprise product reveals during major industry events like Computex.

The rumored device would follow the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X, which Asus released over six months ago. Those models succeeded the original ROG Ally and ROG Ally X launched in 2023 and 2024 respectively.
