Polyarc has announced Moss: The Forgotten Relic, a new flat-screen release for its popular VR franchise that launches this summer across multiple platforms.
Polyarc brings the VR franchise to flat screens with a definitive bundle launching this summer
The definitive edition combines the original Moss, Moss: Book II, and the Twilight Garden DLC into one package. Players on Xbox and Nintendo consoles will experience Quill's story for the first time without a headset. PC players can access the game through Steam as well.
Polyarc redesigned the camera system and interaction mechanics to work without virtual reality hardware. The release includes enhanced visuals, new handcrafted cutscenes, and an optional feature that lets players skip combat encounters entirely. Jason Graves returns to compose the orchestral soundtrack for this version.
The game launches on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2. Polyarc has not confirmed an exact release date or pricing details for the summer launch window.
