CEO Strauss Zelnick outlines distribution plans and summer marketing timeline for the highly anticipated title

Strauss Zelnick, the chief executive of Take-Two Interactive, stated that the company values its third-party retail partners and seeks marketing opportunities with them. He explained that the firm does not aim to control distribution channels. Instead, it wants to deliver products to consumers through any method they prefer while maintaining favorable economic terms.

The marketing campaign for Grand Theft Auto VI will intensify during the summer season. Zelnick noted that the current period is not quite summer yet, which indicates a timeline for the upcoming promotional push. Unconfirmed reports suggest that the company might reveal additional gameplay footage during an upcoming Sony State of Play event in June.

Industry observers are currently debating whether Grand Theft Auto VI will become the first major video game to cost eighty dollars. Bank of America speculated on this possibility before any official pricing announcement. Rockstar Games is expected to disclose pre-order details once its marketing strategy fully activates.
