Motorola has expanded its Android 17 beta program to include two new foldable devices from the Razr lineup. The company added the Razr 70 Ultra and the Razr Fold to the official testing list. This move extends Motorola's software preview efforts to more users who want early access to upcoming features.

Registration opens globally for the MFN testing program on both foldable models

The updated operating system introduces several notable changes for beta testers. Users will see deeper integration of Gemini AI with expanded capabilities across the interface. The update also brings bubble support for all applications, redesigned privacy indicators, and OTP protection. A new system-level Contacts Picker simplifies how users select contacts within apps. Motorola officially refers to this testing phase as the MFN testing program.

Registration for the beta is now open in multiple global regions. Users can sign up through dedicated portals in India, the United States, EMEA, LATAM, and Brazil. Both the Razr Fold and Razr 70 Ultra models have separate registration links available for each region. Participants should be aware that beta builds often contain bugs or unfinished features that may cause crashes or instability.

Motorola has not confirmed whether every Android 17 feature will appear in the final beta package. The company previously indicated it might exclude certain upgrades from the update shipped to its devices. This selective approach suggests some functionality may remain reserved for later stable releases.
