It's the 1 year anniversary of Dispatch and Adhoc Studios pulled a surprise by releasing an update that gives players more content if they've already been sinking time into the series. Patch 1.000.015 gives current owners the ability to get in-depth commentary and a new way to experience the story. Meanwhile players who want the full deal can easily upgrade for a low cost. The update is ready for download now on any platform and Adhoc Studios has confirmed that we can expect to see a mobile release later this year.

Dispatch game anniversary update announcement
Dispatch update 1.000.015 is now available on all platforms.

Anniversary patch unlocks dual audio tracks and storyboard visuals for players

The update itself includes two new parts meant to improve the narrative in the game. First off we've got the Cast & Crew Commentary where the player will have access to over 16 hours of audio across all the episodes. You'll be able to toggle between either the cast or crew audio for each episode.

Next we have the Storyboard mode, which allows players to experience the game in its original drawn form. Basically replaying the game in storyboard mode is a different visual experience of the story. The new content is all free for owners of the Digital Deluxe Edition.

If you don't own the Deluxe Edition, Adhoc Studios is offering a special one time upgrade for the game which costs $10.99 (20% off). This deal is available right now on and Xbox. Worth noting that Dispatch has exceeded 5 million players since launch.

That gives a pretty large pool of potential players who might be interested in the new content. The upgrade also makes it so anyone new or coming back to the game will be able to experience the new commentary and storyboard modes without having to rebuy the entire game.

We know Dispatch mobile is coming on December 9 to give us the ability to play the game on more devices. We'll also see a physical release for the game come the holiday season in 2026. But that's down the road, for now we've got the digital update and the mobile release to look forward to.

The update itself is quite a content dump for the 1 year anniversary. It's a great way to reward fans who have been along for the ride and to entice new players into checking out the series.
