Ubisoft temporarily removes Osa from the roster to fix an exploit while other bugs remain unresolved

The exploit that was targeted in the hotfix was focused around a specific operator called Osa. Version 3.54 (build number 1.000.160) was the version number that was released. This hotfix is a global release on all supported platforms.

The Ubisoft team specifically mentioned they are addressing the exploit around the operator called Osa. They disabled Osa for a period of time during the release of this hotfix. The Ubisoft team did mention that Osa will be re-enabled soon after the hotfix is released. This will bring full operator back to the list.

In addition to fixing the exploit, they mention a few different technical issues that are happening in the game. There is a list of issues that are either in progress or will be patched in the future. There are reports of FPS drops and losing access to operators.

They also mentioned that they are still working on some issues relating to the anticheat installer. This lets us know there is still more to do when it comes to stability of the game.

We covered the previous update that included the keyboard and mouse feature on console. It feels like there is a lot of work being done around the balance and stability aspect. We touched upon some of the same things around balance and stability when we went over the last update to Rainbow Six Siege. Ubisoft has temporarily disabled the Osa operator in the hotfix, but will be re-enabling her soon after it is released.

The hotfix is live and available for download. The Osa operator will be re-enabled soon after the release. There are a few other issues that are still in progress or will be added in future patches.

The issues include FPS drops and losing access to operators. The hotfix fixed the exploit around the Osa operator. There are other issues that Ubisoft is looking into at the moment.
