The Game Bakers is launching a new merchandise feature for its indie climbing game Cairn. Players can now purchase personalized T-shirts that commemorate their successful climbs within the game.
Players can now purchase custom shirts displaying their exact in-game climbing routes
Each shirt displays the player's exact path highlighted on the mountain they climbed during their best run. The company partnered with Mighty Merch and Teemill to produce these custom items directly through an in-game menu. Customers simply scan a QR code to access the ordering process.
The T-shirts are priced at £35 GBP (about $46.90), $48 USD, or €40 EUR per shirt.
This release expands Cairn's ecosystem by allowing players to own physical memorabilia of their virtual achievements. The feature highlights a growing trend in the gaming industry where developers offer direct-to-consumer customization options.
The Game Bakers has not confirmed specific launch windows for this merchandise program beyond its current availability through the game menu.
