Cold Symmetry drops Rotten Autumn update for Mortal Shell II just in time for Halloween. This update is a massive update that introduces a large amount of new content. In total 15 new dungeons have been added to explore.
Free update adds photo mode and new soundtrack by Rotting Christ
The update brings along with it a few technical updates and cosmetic elements which will alter the aesthetics of the game. If you were searching for some tougher content to play through, or just some fresh visual changes, you now have some new options, and you don't even need to purchase new software to gain access to it.
There are some new aesthetics and sounds which have been added to the game with this update. Now you can take screenshots using the photo mode while you go on your adventures. You also get a different soundtrack which was created by Sakis Tolis from Rotting Christ. This gives you a different vibe to enjoy the game with if you wish to try things in a different way.
Many new cosmetics and gameplay features have been added with the Rotten Autumn update. With this patch you get new skin shades for each shell. 10 new tarits have been added as well (plus a new tarit for the sheep skin itself). For the Halloween festivities you also get a pumpkin helmet to use.
A new lute skin is available, plus some new musical compositions have been added. You'll also encounter a Ghost of a lost shell wandering around in the game world that will drop some mysterious notes for you to find.
Some of the technical updates made in the game improve the overall visual quality of darker scenes. The night mode now features some new lighting adjustments which improve the visibility and mood of the game when in low-light conditions. The graphics options have been extended, giving you more options for how you'd like to see the game look. These are some good updates to help improve the look and feel of the game for new and returning players alike.
