Dell is reportedly raising monitor prices by 3- 5% starting October 2026. The hike targets mid- range and high- end displays as the company stops absorbing rising manufacturing costs.

Dell is said to be raising the price of monitors by 3-5% beginning October of 2026. Dell will be stopping the buffer they were applying in-front of increasing manufacturing costs. So if you’re looking to buy a mid-range or high-end monitor you will be paying more for them in the coming year.

Mid-range and high-end displays face hikes while budget models remain exempt

Dell is raising prices on mid-range and high-end monitors. Low-end monitors will likely be left untouched. Dell had opted to shoulder the upswing of upstream manufacturing costs in July.

This comes on the heels of similar warnings from other monitor companies such as KTC and AOC. Both had cited climbing component costs as a reason for a price increase. This comes right as Dell monitors were receiving a lot of good press for being affordable.

This price increase comes at a time where the PC market as a whole is struggling. Global PC shipments dropped by 20.1% for the third quarter of 2026. Dell saw its shipments drop at a faster rate than the average for the quarter.
