Community patch brings online multiplayer and modern display support to legacy fighting game
An unofficial PC port of Tekken 6. Developed by fans, not Bandai Namco. This game is based on Xbox 360 version of Tekken 6. Major technical upgrades have been added for PC.
You can play this PC port with conventional input devices such as a gamepad, arcade stick, or keyboard. Playable with same control schemes as Tekken 7, Tekken 8.
You can choose from 3 different graphics modes according to your display. Standard is the base mode. High mode is focused on sharp graphics on Full HD or 1440p displays.
Ultra mode is optimized for 4K displays to provide sharp graphics on high-res displays. Fullscreen, borderless, or window mode are available for flexible desktop integration.
This port has rollback netcode for online multiplayer. This helps online matches to remain smooth even if there's network lag, avoiding disconnects to alleviate frustration. Bug fixes, reduced stuttering, improved sound, more stable matches, and other updates have been made in recent updates. You'll need to supply your own game ISO for this port as the game assets aren't included.
You can download the PC port from GitHub. Head over to the project repo to get it directly. This PC port gives you a functioning online experience for a game that isn't available on modern PC storefronts. This unofficial PC port is a testament to the work and dedication the community put into preserving and improving this game for modern PCs.
