That's a whole lot more than their original funding goal of $33,254. It seems like there's a lot of interest in a board game based on the popular Plants vs. Zombies video game franchise.
If you love cooperative gameplay, this board game is something to be excited about. You'll get a board game version of the Plants vs. Zombies zombie defense game.
Plants vs. Zombies: The Board Game is a cooperative board game for 1 to 4 players. It takes the mechanics of the original game and recreates it as a miniature-based board game.
Mantic Games set out to create the Plants vs. Zombies game on a tabletop. You'll need to work together to fight off hordes of undead enemies.
Mantic has unlocked many rewards through reaching various funding milestones. This includes new cards, stickers, and random events for the game. They've also introduced a new Gargantuar miniature.
Plus, two new mini-expansions, Pool Party and Pirate Seas. These are just extra unlocks that add to the game without changing the rules.
There are three editions of Plants vs. Zombies: The Board Game now available for pre-order. The regular edition is $54.
The deluxe version is $100. It comes with some extra goodies. And if you want the deluxe version with Night expansion, it'll cost you $167. These games are set to ship in September 2027.
