A hacker calling himself Cyberleek claims to hold a complete, playable version of Grand Theft Auto VI and threatens to release it online if his memecoin reaches a specific market value. This potential leak poses a direct risk to the November 2026 launch window for the title, which is scheduled for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Buyers waiting for the official release may face premature exposure of the full story campaign if the threat materializes.
Anonymous leaker demands public apology and physical disc release to prevent premature game exposure
Cyberleek states that he possesses the complete game build, including the full story campaign, credits, and all associated assets. The hacker demands that publisher Take-Two Interactive issue a public apology and release the game on physical discs as a condition to prevent the leak. These demands frame the situation as a confrontation between the anonymous leaker and the game developer.
The central condition for the leak involves the memecoin $CYBERLEEK. Cyberleek asserts that he will publish the full game build only when the market capitalization of his token reaches 30 million dollars. He offers to demonstrate possession of the campaign to anyone who requests proof, stating, "Don't believe I have the full campaign? Ask to see what you want to see – and I will demonstrate it."
Take-Two Interactive has not yet responded to the demands or the leak threat. The hacker claims that the publisher has only one way out, which is to accept his terms regarding the apology and disc release. Everyone knows which option they will choose, according to Cyberleek, or risk the possibility that he is bluffing about the build's existence.
