OnePlus is launching the OnePlus 16 in China on October 12, 2026, bringing a massive 9,000mAh battery to the flagship market. This battery capacity targets users who prioritize extended screen-on time over compact device dimensions. The company also revealed a special 'Mortal' animation gift box featuring sword-themed accessories for the launch.

The device runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 processor, which OnePlus paired with a new-generation Fengchi Gaming Kernel. The company tuned this kernel specifically to sustain performance during long gaming sessions. This hardware combination forms the core of the phone's performance strategy.
