's upcoming Core 7 350 processor, codenamed Wildcat Lake, has appeared in the PassMark benchmark database. The chip scored 4,228 points in single-threaded tests and 16,237 points in multi-threaded tests.

Benchmark scores reveal hybrid architecture

The Core 7 350 is a 6-core, 6-thread CPU with a hybrid architecture. It features two Cougar Cove performance cores and four Darkmont low-power efficiency cores. The P-cores can boost up to 4.8 GHz. The processor has a 15W TDP and 6 MB of L3 cache.

The Core 7 350 features two Cougar Cove P-cores and four Darkmont LPE cores.

According to PassMark results, the Core 7 350 trails Apple's A19 Pro by about 18% in single-core performance. However, it leads the A19 Pro by roughly 9% in multi-core performance.

The Wildcat Lake chip appears to be aimed at thin-and-light laptops and low-power devices. Its 15W TDP and hybrid core design suggest Intel is targeting efficiency while maintaining competitive multi-threaded performance. TweakTown reported the benchmark sighting.
