The controller retains its core specifications, including Hall Effect analog triggers and optical micro switch ABXY buttons. It connects to Xbox consoles wirelessly via a 2.4GHz dongle and supports wired connections through USB-C. The device also pairs with Android devices via Bluetooth and works with PC using both wired and 2.4GHz wireless modes. A 1,000Hz polling rate is available for PC users only.
The new carrying case lacks the integrated charging port feature found in the original version. GameSir cites the new case as simpler and easier to use for storage and protection. The controller hardware and other accessories remain unchanged from the previous release. This streamlined design focuses on basic protection rather than integrated power delivery.
