Team Heretics have won their first domestic Tier 1 trophy in Valorant history. The team defeated Team Vitality 3-2 in the VCT EMEA Stage 1 Grand Final on May 17, 2026. The series went the full five maps: Breeze, Lotus, Pearl, Split, and Haven.

Team Heretics came from lower bracket

Team Heretics came from the lower bracket after a 0-2 start in the group stage. They also made a mid-season roster change, replacing Berkcan 'ComeBack' Senturk with debutant Martynas 'Koshmaras' Namikas. The victory qualifies Team Heretics for Valorant Masters London as EMEA's highest seed.

After qualifying, Team Heretics coach Neil 'neilzinho' Finlay said: "A lot of noise after we went 0-2 by the usual doubters, and that's fine. Glad we turned it around as always and qualified for our 6th international. Keep doubting, as long as myself and weber are here, we'll keep proving the haters wrong."

The win marks a significant achievement for Team Heretics in the EMEA region. Insider Gaming reported the outcome.
