Inti Creates is preparing to reveal a new game at Tokyo Game Show 2026, giving fans a concrete date to watch for a fresh IP. The studio will showcase this unannounced title alongside established franchises during the convention. This event offers a rare opportunity to see what the developer is building next for the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 hardware.
Studio showcases secret project alongside Gunvolt titles
The developer is using the Tokyo Game Show booth to highlight its current and future projects. GunvoltOfficial, the official account for the franchise, confirmed that the new game will be playable for attendees. This approach allows the studio to generate interest in a secret project while promoting its existing catalog.
The booth will feature significant hardware to demonstrate the capabilities of the upcoming Switch 2. A massive 190-inch monitor will project gameplay footage of Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX 3. This visual setup ensures that visitors can see the game's action clearly from a distance.
The studio is also showcasing its legacy titles to attract a broader audience to the booth. The Azure Striker Gunvolt Trilogy Enhanced – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will be available for play. Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX 3 will also be featured in the demonstration area. These titles provide context for the studio's style as they introduce the new project.
We looked at previous Inti Creates releases while tracking their convention plans. Inti Creates is known for developing fast-paced action games that perform effectively on contemporary gaming systems. The focus on the Switch 2 suggests the new title is designed for this specific platform.
