is offering free games to customers affected by a shipping error involving its Controller. The mistake occurred when carrier GLS routed controllers to the UK instead of Hungary and Romania.

The Steam Controller retails for 99 USD (about $99.00). Many affected customers have chosen Forza Horizon 6 as their free game, which costs 70 EUR (about $81.41) for the standard edition.

Valve apologized for the issue and offered any standard edition game available in the customer's region. Steam Support sent emails explaining the carrier error and that packages were being redirected.

Customers on Reddit confirmed the offer and shared their choices. One Redditor noted that Forza Horizon 6 at that price was not something they would buy on their own. Another said they were getting the same game. A third praised Valve for treating customers with decency, suggesting it builds long-term loyalty.
