Dell has released a new 14-inch laptop model that brings faster refresh rates and higher memory ceilings to budget buyers in Oceania and Southeast Asia. The Dell 14 D14265 targets users who need a lightweight machine for everyday tasks but want a smoother display than previous entry-level options. This release gives shoppers in these specific regions a more modern screen and better gaming potential for the same price bracket.

Budget laptop ships in Oceania and Southeast Asia with 120Hz screen

The device features Ryzen 3 210 or Ryzen 5 220 processors built on the Hawk Point architecture. These chips combine Zen 4 and Zen 4c cores on a 4 nm node with a 28 W TDP. The integrated Radeon 740M graphics handle light gaming better than the older Xe3 iGPU found in the Dell 14 D14261. However, the graphics chip only supports older triple-A titles at 720p or 1080p resolution.

Specifications

  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 3 210 or Ryzen 5 220 (Hawk Point, Zen 4/Zen 4c, 4 nm, 28 W TDP)
  • Integrated Graphics: Radeon 740M
  • Display: 14-inch IPS, 1200p resolution, 400 nits peak brightness, 120 Hz refresh rate
  • Battery: 54 Wh
  • Weight: 1.2 kg

The 14-inch IPS display offers a 1200p resolution, 400 nits peak brightness, and a 120 Hz refresh rate. Dell equipped the laptop with a 54 Wh battery and kept the weight down to 1.2 kg. Memory configurations start at 8 GB of DDR5-5600 RAM and scale up to 32 GB in dual-channel mode. Storage options include a default 512 GB drive or an optional 1 TB upgrade.

Pricing starts at 1129 AUD (around $801) in Australia, which undercuts the previous D14261 model. The laptop costs at least 1299 NZD (around $763) in New Zealand. Buyers in Malaysia can get it for 3929 MYR (around $968), while Singapore prices start at 1209 SGD (around $946). The device ships in Celestial Blue and Platinum Silver finishes.

We currently only see references to the Dell 14 D14265 in Oceania and Southeast Asia markets. Dell has not confirmed international availability beyond these regions for this specific model. This confirms the laptop is a regional release focused on these specific markets for now.
