Asus has launched a new ROG Certified memory program at an event in China. The program introduces memory kits that carry the ROG branding and are validated for use with ROG motherboards.

First kit uses SK Hynix M-die ICs

The first kit is a 48GB DDR5 module with CL26 latency, developed by BIWIN. It uses SK Hynix M-die ICs and supports both Intel XMP and AMD EXPO overclocking profiles. Asus claims the RAM delivers stable and better performance when paired with ROG motherboards.

The kit is available in China for 5999 CNY (about $882). More ROG Certified kits are planned from 14 partners, including Adata, Corsair, G.Skill, Lexar, Silicon Power, and Apacer.

Asus has not confirmed a global launch for the program. However, the involvement of international partners suggests that ROG-branded memory could eventually reach markets outside China.
