Unknown Worlds Entertainment's Subnautica 2 has sold two million copies within 12 hours of its early access launch on May 14.

Over 651,000 concurrent players across platforms

The game drew over 651,000 concurrent players across Steam, the Epic Games Store, and Xbox. On Steam alone, it peaked at 467,582 concurrent players, according to SteamDB. The title currently holds a 93% positive rating on Steam.

Subnautica 2 is available in early access globally for $30 USD (about $30.00).

PCGamesN reviewer Paul called the game "a beautiful game and a rewarding experience" and noted that both returning players and newcomers "will find a lot to dig into here."
