Lenovo released the V17 Gen 7 laptop in Austria and Germany, offering a large 17-inch screen for users who need more workspace than standard 15-inch models provide. This release brings 's latest Wildcat Lake processors to the business and education segments, targeting buyers who prioritize screen real estate and battery efficiency over raw gaming power. The move gives consumers a concrete option for portable productivity without sacrificing display size.

New 17-inch laptop offers Intel Wildcat Lake processors and 14-hour battery life

The machine features a 17.3-inch IPS display with a 1,920 by 1,080 resolution and a 60 Hz refresh rate. It delivers 300 nits of peak brightness and covers 72 percent of the NTSC color space, which suits general office tasks and media consumption. Lenovo paired this screen with Intel Core 5 320 or Core 7 350 processors from the Wildcat Lake family. Both processor options share the same chassis and peripheral layout.

Specifications

  • Processor: Intel Core 5 320 / Intel Core 7 350 (Intel Wildcat Lake)
  • Display: 17.3-inch IPS, 1920 x 1080, 60 Hz, 300 nits, 72% NTSC

  • Storage: 512 GB M.2 2242 SSD
  • Battery: 47 Wh, up to 14.36 hours (JEITA-BAT 3.0)

Lenovo equipped both SKUs with 16 GB of DDR5-5600 RAM and a 512 GB M.2 2242 SSD. The base model starts with the Core 5 320, while the higher-tier version switches to the Core 7 350 for a 12 percent performance uplift. Both configurations include an identical 47 Wh battery. Lenovo claims this battery lasts up to 14.36 hours in the JEITA-BAT 3.0 test at 200 nits brightness.

The base Core 5 320 model costs 1,069 EUR (around $1,231) in Austria and Germany. The Core 7 350 version adds about 130 EUR (around $150) to that price, landing at 1,199 EUR (around $1,380). We touched on Lenovo V15 Gen 7 IWC Launches in our earlier Lenovo coverage, which shares the same processor architecture but offers different memory configurations. The V17 Gen 7 targets users who need the larger form factor specifically.

Lenovo plans a global release for the V17 Gen 7 in the Eurozone, UK, Southeast Asia, Africa, the Americas, the Middle East, and South Asia.
