Best Buy has informed its affiliates that pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto 6 will begin next week. The pre-order campaign is scheduled to run from May 18 to May 21. Affiliates will receive a 5% commission on each sale.

The pre-order campaign is for physical copies of the game. The news has sparked speculation that a new trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 may be released around the same time. Take-Two Interactive, Rockstar's parent company, is holding its Q4 2026 earnings call on May 21.

The timing of the pre-order campaign and the earnings call has led to rumors that a new trailer could be shown. A leaker on social media posted that pre-orders are coming very soon. Rockstar Games has not confirmed the pre-order date or a new trailer.
