The Redmi Watch 6 Lite brings features typically reserved for higher-tier models to a sub-$70 price point. This shift matters because it gives Android users access to GPS and an AMOLED screen without paying premium prices. Buyers who prioritize screen quality and location tracking over contactless payments will find this configuration appealing.

Budget smartwatch adds location tracking and better screen

The Redmi Watch 6 Lite shares its chassis design with the Redmi Watch 6 Active but upgrades the internal components significantly. It features a 1.96-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 502 x 410 pixels. This screen setup offers sharper visuals and deeper blacks compared to the smaller 1.85-inch panel on the Active model. The device also includes a more precise 9-axis motion sensor for improved fitness tracking accuracy.
