Tiny Roar developed the title, while Megabit and rokaplay handle publishing duties. The game launches globally on August 27 across five platforms. These platforms include the new Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series consoles, the original Switch, and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store.
The story follows players who arrive on the tropical archipelago of Limbo after a storm hits. Their Uncle Lou is missing, and they must use a seaplane and gadgets to find him. The gameplay loop involves flying between islands to collect resources and rebuild communities.
We looked at the last Lou's Lagoon update earlier while tracking game releases. That previous coverage highlighted similar balance and stability themes found in the current build. The new Switch 2 version integrates these same core mechanics into the handheld ecosystem.
The game is available for purchase and download starting August 27. All five supported platforms receive the update simultaneously. This release completes the multi-platform rollout for the developer and publishers.
