Sony has announced a preliminary settlement regarding the PlayStation Network in the United States. The agreement involves a payment of $7,850,000 USD to resolve claims against the company.

The settlement covers digital game purchases made through the PlayStation Store between April 1, 2019 and December 31, 2023. Eligible titles include WWE 2K17, No Man's Sky, The Last of Us Remastered, Until Dawn, NBA 2K18, Mass Effect Trilogy, Madden NFL 17, and others.

The Northern District of California has preliminarily approved the proposed settlement on April 8. The Saveri Law Firm is representing the plaintiffs in this class-action lawsuit involving digital storefront transactions.

This development affects consumers who purchased specific games during the specified period. The settlement amount is approximately $7.8 million, which will be distributed to eligible individuals in the United States.
