Pearl Abyss is planning downloadable content for its open-world action-adventure game Crimson Desert. The studio also said it is considering a port for the Nintendo Switch 2.
DLC and Switch 2 port plans revealed
The company revealed these plans during an earnings call. The team stated it is exploring various ways to broaden the game to the next level, including DLC. The Switch 2 port remains under consideration and has not been confirmed.
Crimson Desert generated KRW 266.5 billion, approximately $179 million, in the first quarter of 2026. The majority of that revenue came from North America and the European Union.
Pearl Abyss has not announced a release date for the DLC or a final decision on the Switch 2 version. The studio has not provided further details on the content or timing of the expansion.
