CEO Arthur Liu used a surprise livestream to address the botched Pocket Micro 2 launch, announcing a firmware update for existing owners and implying future restocks amid soaring memory costs. The frustration of a launch that felt rushed due to component shortages is now met with a software patch that might salvage the user experience for early adopters. If you bought the Pocket Micro 2, there is a free update that actually fixes the fan noise and external display problems you likely complained about.
