Ugreen released a new version of its Nexode Pro 100W charger in Germany that shrinks the physical footprint while maintaining high-power output. This change matters to handheld PC owners who need to charge their devices and accessories simultaneously without carrying bulky wall adapters. The company swapped one USB-C port for a more compact design that reduces the base area by nearly 30 percent compared to the previous five-port model.

Compact 4-port GaN adapter targets handheld PC users

The new charger, identified as model X772, features a four-port layout consisting of three USB-C connectors and one USB-A connector. It measures 63 by 63 by 36 millimeters, which is significantly smaller than the previous 76 by 76 by 36 millimeter chassis. This reduced size allows users to pack the adapter more easily for travel while still powering a handheld PC at full speed.

Specifications

  • Ports: 3x USB-C, 1x USB-A
  • Dimensions: 63 x 63 x 36 mm
  • USB-C1/C2 Max Output: 100W
  • USB-C3 Output (4-port load): 65W
  • USB-A Max Output: 22.5W

The charger supports USB PD 3.0 and PPS fast-charging standards to deliver power efficiently to connected devices. The USB-C1 and USB-C2 ports each provide up to 100W of power when used individually. A built-in smart display shows the active charging protocol, current power output, and internal temperature to help users monitor the charging status in real time.

When all four ports are active, the charger maintains a 65W output on one of the USB-C ports. The single USB-A port tops out at 22.5W for legacy devices that do not support USB-C. This configuration ensures that users can charge a laptop, a phone, and a peripheral from a single compact block without significant power loss.

Ugreen lists the new Nexode Pro 100W charger on Amazon Germany for 59.99 EUR (around $68.43). We touched on Ugreen Nexode Pro Charger Discounted to in our earlier Ugreen coverage. The new model is now available for purchase in Germany, offering a streamlined alternative to the larger previous generation.

The release confirms Ugreen's strategy to prioritize portability in its GaN charging solutions. Users who previously owned the five-port version can now upgrade to a smaller form factor that delivers the same 100W capability for primary devices. The charger remains a practical solution for travelers who need to power multiple gadgets from one outlet.
