Riot Games has released patch 1.2.1 for its fighting game 2XKO. The update introduces a new Fuse called Teamfight and adds duo voice chat. The patch went live globally on May 12, 2026.

Teamfight allows both champions on screen for seven seconds.

Teamfight allows both champions to appear on screen simultaneously for seven seconds. Duo voice chat is included but is off by default and does not support push-to-talk. A Find a Duo feature has also been added to the client. Replay Takeover lets players control either team during replays. The assist cooldown after a knockout has been reduced from three seconds to two seconds. Blocking Fury activation now always results in a wall bounce.

Several champion adjustments are part of the patch. Caitlyn's Tactical Dive can now cancel into Enticing Trap. Darius sees reduced knockback on Coward's Bane when blocked airborne, and reduced blockstun and recovery on Apprehend. Illaoi's Prayer in Stagnation recovery increased by six frames, and Faith in Motion hitbox was reduced. Jinx's Watch Your Head! is now cancellable into Supers or Specials on the connect frame. Vi's Axe-Handle Crash is cancellable into Supers on hit. Warwick's Primal Leap into Snare active frames changed from 21 to 18, recovery reduced, Savage Slashes hitstop improved, and No Escape Assist damage scaling reduced.

The update adds social features that aim to make finding and playing with a partner easier. The Find a Duo system and voice chat are part of a broader effort to support the game's tag-team mechanics. Riot Games has not confirmed further details about upcoming content.
