IO Interactive has detailed the PS5 Pro enhanced features for its upcoming game 007 First Light. The game will take advantage of the upgraded PSSR upscaling technology on the console.

Upgraded PSSR enhances image quality

The upgraded PSSR improves image quality in dense foliage and close-up shots of characters and cinematics. It reduces shimmering and flickering artifacts. Camera stability is improved during motion. Finer details like hair and fabric show improved clarity. The developer noted that no per-scene tuning is needed due to the strong base output.

007 First Light launches on May 27, 2026, globally.

According to the PlayStation Blog, the upgraded PSSR provides the best experience players can get on console. IO Interactive has not confirmed any other platform details or additional features beyond the PS5 Pro enhancements.
