TCL has introduced two new OLED monitors in China that aim to undercut the Apple Studio Display while offering higher refresh rates for PC gamers. The 27X3B and 32X3B OLED+ models bring Tandem WOLED technology to a price point that challenges premium all-in-one desktops. Buyers looking for high-performance displays without the Apple ecosystem lock-in now have specific hardware alternatives to consider.

New Tandem WOLED displays undercut premium all-in-one desktops

The 27-inch 27X3B OLED+ features a native QHD (2560×1440) resolution and runs at a 280Hz refresh rate. The larger 32-inch 32X3B OLED+ pushes resolution up to UHD (3840×2160) at 240Hz. Users can also dial the resolution down to FHD to hit a 480Hz refresh rate mode on the 32-inch model.

Spec 27X3B OLED+ 32X3B OLED+
Panel Size 27-inch 32-inch
Resolution QHD (2560×1440) UHD (3840×2160)
Max Refresh Rate 280Hz 480Hz (at FHD)
Peak Brightness 1,500 nits 1,500 nits
Price (China) CNY 3,699 (~$546) CNY 6,499 (~$959)

Both monitors share a peak brightness rating of 1,500 nits and cover 99.5% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. The 32-inch version includes a 90W USB-C port for power delivery. TCL claims the panels use fast frame technology to promise low latency for competitive gaming.

The displays include built-in speakers tuned by B&O and feature low-reflection coatings to manage glare. The 27-inch model retails for CNY 3,699 (around $546) in China. The 32-inch model costs CNY 6,499 (around $959) in the same region.

TCL expects these monitors to hit the global market as well, though specific dates and international pricing remain unconfirmed. The company positions these screens as affordable alternatives to the Apple Studio Display. We looked at the Apple Studio Display earlier while tracking high-end all-in-one desktops.
